TDAT x Glad Recipe Competition – MATS Showcase

I have another wonderful showcase of MATS submissions! A little bit ago, They Draw & Cook held an illustrated recipe contest with Glad in which designers needed to create a layout with 3 recipes using one healthy ingredient as their main component. My fellow bootcamper the fabulous Jana Curll, whom I greatly admire, actually ended up winning the  with her beautiful piece “Oh, Happy Apple!” (linked below). All the pieces submitted by my MATS friends are so unique and beautiful, I highly recommend you check out all the links 🙂

The Super Online Sewing Match* !

SOSM I am so extremely excited to announce that I have been selected as one of ten contestants to participate in Sew Mama Sew and Janome’s The Super Online Sewing Match*! This is a North American competition being held entirely online and is a fabulous opportunity for not just the contestants but anyone else who would like be involved, as it includes a Community Sewing Match where everyone can participate by creating the same patterns that we will be. If you love to sew or are interesting to challenging yourself, definitely check the details out here!

I will be completing weekly projects by some amazing pattern designers and be posting my process work here (provided I don’t get eliminated 😉 ). I am honored to be part of this and absolutely can’t wait to start! A few samples of my work that were featured:

*The name of the competition has now been modified to end in “Match” instead of the word describing a yellow and black buzzing creature, due to trademark conflicts. More here.
