My debut at Printsource 2015 with Cultivate Art Collective is tomorrow! I am extremely excited about it 🙂 Drop by our booth at A17 to have a chat with the lovely Rachelle and Charlotte. Here are some Collective member flyers for the show (click on a flyer to visit the artist website):
This week, Spoonflower’s pattern design contest theme is Ballet! I introduce to you the newest sensation, The Woodland Ballet Company. My design is called “Tippy Toes.” Sweet little forest creatures showing off their graceful moves! And I couldn’t forget all the bling for the costumes. Ballet costumes are so sigh-worthy and beautiful, and the application of the embellishments is typically done by hand which makes them even more special!
I don’t think there is anything that compares to how awesome it feels to see a design you’ve done out in the world! Someone who purchased my Sew, My Darling fabric off Spoonflower made a few of these bags, I even gifted one to me! So excited 🙂
This week’s Spoonflower textile competition is beard and mustache themed! I went a little off in to my own universe where all manner of creatures have very dashing facial hair in my design “A Furry Upper Lip” ! I worked with a more vintage palette which I think fits well with the subject theme. This design cracks me up every time I look at it! Maybe I should make these guys into plushies… 🙂
This is my Spoonflower entry for the utensil themed textile design contest this week! It’s called “Everything but the Sink!” because well… I pretty much included every kitchen utensil I could fit in except the sink! Haha! I think I need to order some of this on cotton so I can make an apron (LONG overdue project) 🙂
I’ve just released a new textile design called Hooks which is a nice coordinate for my whale-themed Underwater Pool Party! textile on Spoonflower. I think they’ll look quite sweet together!
